The Original Plan

 The Plan

Hi and welcome to my blog about starting an ecommerce store with Shopify. Not going to give a full detail intro, if you're looking for that then head over here

Initially, our plan was to create an e-commerce store that would cater to broad range of niches. But the more I started to think about it, the harder it became to find ideas. So, I decided to go with a simpler approach where I would just create a simple store, that is the focus of my time here on this blog is to let you know the steps taken to get customgear.shop going.

I am planning to share more on that in the coming weeks. Let me know in any case if you have any questions because I would love to answer. The process of creating a store was somewhat similar to creating an individual store.

Having to deal with taxes and such but instead of dealing with just your local community you have to deal with the whole world.  There are many benefits to this approach because your audience goes worldwide.

Once you get the basics of how the system works, you can create the basic design of your store, design your content and also design the shopping cart, as well as order management. This is where we will get into some details of Shopify eCommerce. That will be the main focus in these blog posts.

Here at this time, having lost my team and trying to learn everything quickly, as well as make everything work.

Some of the components when setting up a store in which you will need to look at are the dashboard, your cart, and your orders. Get familiar with these items for they are pages you will deal with on a day-to-day basis.

It is quite easy to get started with an Estore design. Shopify offers many free templates to choose from or if you want other options, you can search for them on other websites which may cost money but are also offered free more often than not.

To make it easy for you, we are going to use a free template to start out with.  One of our first steps, will involve designing our store. Our store should consist of three main areas.

The first area is the front page. Which will contain our logo, various sections, such as products, contact us, about us and other needed information to provide the customers.

Shopify provides one with the knowledge of what should be available and what is required to be available. Shopify is also growing, making changes and adjustments almost weekly.

If you are wanting to start an ecommerce store, Shopify is highly recommended! I would like to thank you for stopping by and reading through the blog. Very soon another post will be made to continue to talk about making a Shopify ecommerce store.
